Ziyara Shrine Temple will be participating this Monday May 29, 2023 , Memorial Day, in honoring those who gave ALL for this country. There will be THREE parades in Whitesboro, New York Mills and New Hartford. The temple will also host an oasis starting at 1pm following the New York Mills Parade.

Temple has honor to participate in these parades and the more units/clubs and folks we have either walking the parade route, on trailer or on vehicle, the better we will be represented and honor those who deserve it. If you do not wish to be in the parade - come out to the parade on what should be a beautiful day and support the shrine. Please come and join us for this annual celebration!

There will also be Oasis hosted at Ziyara Shrine Park Centre starting at 1 pm for all Shrine Nobels, their family, and perspective members. There will be hamburgs, hot dogs, salads along with jump house for kids. Some beverages but feel free to bring anything special you like to have.

SCHEDULE FOR MONDAY May 29, 2023

1. Whitesboro, NY (Step Off at 9:30 am)
If leaving from Ziyara Shrine Park Centre for Whitesboro Parade - arrive no later than 8:15.
So, leave Shrine Centre for Main Street Whitesboro starting location (by thruway overpass).
If meeting at parade site, you can park in the American Freight (formerly Bargain Outlet) parking lot on Oriskany Boulevard in Whitesboro at 9:00 a.m. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m., will proceed down Main Street and will end at the park in town where a memorial service will be held.

2. New York Mills, NY (Step  OFF at 11 am)
After finishing the Whitesboro Parade, Head to the start of the New York Mills Parade. Parade will start on Main and Elm St at 11am and will proceed down Main St to Pulaski Park. Memorial ceremony will take place once the parade ends at Veterans Memorial Park.
If arriving for New York Mills parade, arrive to corner of elm street and Meadow street by 10:45 am

3. OASIS
Time: May 29, 2023 at 1 pm.
Place: Ziyara Shrine Park Centre
Description: Time to relax with other Nobles, ladies and family after two successful parades and one more opportunity in New Hartford to recognize those who deserve that.
There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, salads and limited beverage selection. BRING YOUR
OWN BEVERAGE if you want particular drink.
Also be Bouncy House for kids and corn hole to play.

4. New Hartford, NY (Step Off at 7 pm)
The 7-division parade lines up at 6:00pm in the New Hartford Shopping Center and starts promptly  at 7:00pm.
If leaving from Ziyara Shrine Park, be there by 5:15 pm.

The parade will proceed North on Genesee Street to Pearl Street, over Pearl to Sanger Ave to Oxford Road.
