Noble Alvarado was raised a Master Mason in Marks Lodge, Huron, Ohio in 1996.
He is a Past Master of Oriental-Faxton Lodge #224, in Utica, where he is serving as
Secretary. He is also a Past Thrice Potent Master, Past Most Wise Master, Past
Sovereign Prince of the Yahnundahsis Bodies AASR and Meritorious Service Award
Recipient, current Junior Warden for the Chapter of Rose Croix, a past member of
Oberlin Chapter, Royal Arch Masons in Oberlin, Ohio and a life member of the Senior
DeMolay Mark Master Lodge in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2001, he joined the Shrine in Ararat
Temple, Kansas City, Missouri. He became a member of Ziyara Temple on January 13,
Mark was born on April 1, 1975 in Lorain, Ohio to Mario and Carmen. Sadly, they
passed away in 1992 and 1996 respectively. His father, Mario, introduced Mark to
Masonry as Mario was a member. He currently resides in New York Mills and has two
sisters, Kira Fiutak of Skaneateles and Angelina Cader, of Liberty Lake, Washington.
He is a graduate from Elyria High School, Elyria, Ohio and has continued his education
at Maple Woods Community College, Kansas City, Missouri, Mohawk Valley
Community College, Utica, New York and Grand Canyon University.
His professional career began as an Instructional Paraprofessional at the Elyria City
Schools. In 2000, he began a distinguished employment service with the Order of
DeMolay at the DeMolay International Headquarters, serving as Membership Service
Assistant and Customer Service Representative. In 2002, Noble Alvarado became the
Field Representative for New York DeMolay and was promoted to Executive Secretary
in 2004, a position he held until December 2007. To highlight his DeMolay career, Hon.
Michael A. Arcuri, Congressman, gave a special tribute to Mark’s accomplishments and
thus Noble Alvarado is listed in the National Congressional Record. Noble Alvarado has
been a Substitute Teacher in Remsen as well. He is employed with the Utica City School
District as an Academic Intervention Services Teacher Assistant with a Level III
Certification currently located at Notre Dame Elementary (K-5).
The Order of DeMolay has conferred several honors upon Mark for his outstanding and
dedicated service. This Past State Scribe of Ohio DeMolay holds the Representative
DeMolay Award, Founders Membership Award, and Blue Honor Key. He also holds the
Degree of Chevalier, the Active DeMolay Legion of Honor, Cross of Honor and is an
Honorary Member (Class 4) of DeMolay International.
As a member of the Ziyara Zanies, Noble Alvarado is best known to all as “Ku-Ko” the
clown, where he has served as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President, President and
Director. He has been awarded the Red Nose and Gold Nose Awards several times and
placed first in the North East Clown Institute competitions in Whiteface, Tramp/Hobo
and Auguste. He was awarded the Craftsman and Master Clown Awards. He competed
at the Imperial Session in 2008 and took home First Place Auguste.
Mark is a hard working and dedicated Shriner. In 2008, he was appointed to the Divan
for several years. He has also served as Secretary of the 40 and Under Club and
MEGAbytes Computer Club. Ziyara Shriners welcomes Noble Alvarado back to the
Divan and wish him well in his future endeavors on behalf of the Shrine.
