Noble Robert J. Verdon II – born in Utica, NY January 27, 1991 to Robert and Linda Verdon grew up in Deerfield, NY before moving to Waterville, NY in his early teens.
Rob was awarded the honorable rank of Eagle Scout in 2009 with Boy Scout Troop 59 in Deerfield, NY. Rob earned his Bachelors of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from SUNY IT in 2014.
He has previously worked at the Air Force Research Laboratory (Rome Labs) in the Communications Computer Systems Branch, and is currently employed as a Project Manager with Day Automation, an HVAC and Security controls company primarily in the K-12 school market.
Joining Mohawk Valley Chapter, Order of DeMolay in 2011 (through his cousin, Noble Anthony Cucci), Rob was introduced into the Masonic family. Although Rob aged out of DeMolay quickly, he was giving the honor and opportunity to become the next Chapter Dad and served that role for the next 5 years. Rob has continued to work and volunteer with DeMolay, including the state website. Rob also received the distinguished Degree of Chevalier in 2013.
Rob joined Oriental-Faxton Lodge #224 in 2013 and Ziyara Shriners in 2014. He enjoys the brotherhood and friendship he's gained from being a member of these great organizations and likes to help out and give back as much as he can.
Outside of Freemasonry, he enjoys the outdoors, including boating and water sports and likes to spend his weekends at the lake in the Adirondacks when he's not at home tinkering on some electronics or house project.
